George R. O’Connor & Associates Chooses HighJump RouteCenter On-Demand

O’Connor & Associates has selected HighJump RouteCenter On-Demand to increase route accounting system (RAS) efficiency, flexibility and reliability. Based in Little Rock, AR, George R. O’Connor & Associates is a leading regional beer wholesaler that owns and operates three independent MillerCoors distributors in Arkansas.

After using its current legacy route accounting system for more than 23 years, George R. O’Connor & Associates decided it was time to migrate to a modern, cloud-based system. The company’s executive and IT teams selected HighJump RouteCenter On-Demand following a thorough evaluation of available technologies, including new solutions from their legacy system vendor. “We were very impressed that HighJump provides a full suite of direct store delivery solutions—route accounting system, pre-sell, inventory and integrated financials in a single package, supported by one team. O’Connor’s companies serve beer retailers across Arkansas through its three independent beer wholesaling companies: Three Lakes Distributing, Three Rivers Distributing and White River Beverage. Each wholesaler is supported by a separate distribution center operating approximately 26 routes apiece. The company needed a solution that could manage complex RAS requirements within a broad geographic area. With migration to the HighJump RAS expected to be complete in early 2012, the company foresees several benefits, including complete integration of daily route accounting metrics for all three companies, which will be rolled up into a unified monthly financial report. “Based on very positive references from HighJump customers, we knew this system would provide the flexibility and performance we needed, including easy to use master files, remote reporting, licensing and infrastructure for handheld utilization,” said George R.
